Registration Coming Soon..SAVE THE DATES for Summer 2019!
Camp is open to 7-12 year old swimmers looking to foster an active lifestyle filled with the love for swimming and the outdoors. Campers should have basic level proficiency for free and back strokes.
Campers have the opportunity to challenge their minds and bodies with a new experience each week. Camp runs daily from 9 – 3 at the Albany Aquatic Center, 1311 Portland Ave, Albany, CA; before and after extended care available!
Campers will swim 4 days a week Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 10:30 am. Every week we will cover 1 stroke a day with a focus on technique, starts and turns in all strokes. We will divide the campers by swimming experience and ability and provide a small group lesson/training experience. We are dedicated to providing the best up to date technical instruction and provide a 1-5 student teacher ratio, we feel this allows each student to receive quality attention and instruction. Our staff is comprised of current and former Armada swimmers who have been trained and will be supervised by our head age group coach Jesus Salcedo. Each week we will have two class room sessions where we provide chalk talk presentations focused on technique, underwater video & goal setting.
Our camps goal is to provide a well rounded athletic lifestyle. We’ll also venture beyond the pool and explore local activities including a weekly trip to the Bridges Climbing Gym, Adventure Playland, kayaking, Dragon boating and much more! Each week will have a different adventure. We will post our destinations as soon as they are scheduled! We hope you can join in our adventures.
